Pacific Missile Test Center Range (Aug. 10, 2004) - The guided missile destroyer USS Pinckney (DDG 91) and the Spanish Navy frigate Almirante Juan De Borbon (F 102) sail together during Combat Systems Ship Qualifications Trails on the Pacific Missile Test Center Range. Pinckney is the first ship in the Navy named after Navy Cook 3rd Class William Pinckney, recipient of the Navy Cross for his courageous rescue of a fellow crew member aboard the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CV 6) during the Battle of Santa Cruz.
