Sasebo, Japan (May 17, 2005) – The guided missile destroyer USS John Paul Jones (DDG 53) arrives in Sasebo, Japan for a routine port visit. This port call gave the San Diego based ship’s company a chance to enjoy the sights and culture of the area. John Paul Jones participated in Exercise Talisman Sabre, a combined exercise between U.S. and Australian forces in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
