At sea with USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (April 19, 2000) -- An Explosive Ordnance Disposal team (EOD) working closely with SEAL team personnel, practice Special Insertion and Extraction (SPIE) techniques from an SH-60 "Seahawk" helicopter. The nuclear powered aircraft carrier and its embarked air wing were completing a scheduled six-month deployment to the Mediterranean Sea. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 2nd Class Leland B.
