USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69)

Arabian Sea (Feb. 17, 2007) – An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron One Zero Three (VFA-103) and an EA-6B Prowler assigned to Electronic Attack Squadron One Four Zero (VAQ-140) launch from the flight deck of USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Eisenhower was transiting alongside guided missile cruiser USS Anzio (CG 68) and two Japanese ships, the Takanami-class destroyer Makinami (DD 112) and the Towada-class support vessel Towada (AOE 422). Eisenhower and embarked Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) were on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO).
