Persian Gulf (Dec. 16, 2006) - The Military Sealift Command (MSC) fast combat support ship USNS Artic (T-AOE 8) conducts a replenishment at sea (RAS) with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Eisenhower and embarked Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) were on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations and the global war on terrorism.
