PACIFIC OCEAN (March 4, 2009) Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) receive a pallet of supplies from the Military Sealift Command Dry Cargo/Ammunition ship USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE 3) during an underway replenishment at sea. McCain, one of seven Arleigh Burke-class destroyers assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, is permanently forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan.
