Sea Ray Employees Achieve Safety Milestone at Palm Coast Plant, Make Donation to Local Charity
KNOXVILLE, Tenn., June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sea Ray Boats employees at the Palm Coast, Fla., facility are celebrating a safety milestone -- 1 million work hours without a lost-time incident.
In recognition of this accomplishment, Brunswick Corporation, Sea Ray's parent company, has awarded the facility the Chairman's Gold Safety Award, to be presented on June 12, by Dustan E. McCoy, chairman and chief executive officer - Brunswick Corporation.
"Safety is no stranger to Sea Ray's plants, it is a way of life and working," said Richard C. Stone, president of Sea Ray Boats. "We will continue to aim for record-setting milestones."

In conjunction with this award, Brunswick Corporation has committed to a $10,000 donation on behalf of Sea Ray employees to The Family Life Center of Flagler County.
Sea Ray Boats has 570 employees at the Palm Coast facility, which manufactures sport yachts and yachts from 40 to 52 feet in length. In addition to this milestone, Sea Ray as a whole has seen significant reductions in numbers of injuries and first-aid cases since 2004.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.: 16 February 2006 — Bass Cat, Correct Craft, Cobalt, Grady-White, Manitou, Regal and Sea Ray rank highest in customer satisfaction in seven boat segments included in the J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Boat Competitive Information StudySM released today.The study, now in its fifth year, measures owner satisfaction with new boats among 78 boat brands in seven segments: ski/wakeboard, fiberglass bass boats, small runabouts (16 to 19 feet), large runabouts (20 to 29 feet), coastal fishing (17 to 28 feet), pontoons and express cruisers (24 to 33 feet). Overall customer satisfaction index scores are based on performance in nine categories: cabin; engine; ride/handling; helm/instrument panel; design/styling; sound system; maintenance; water sports; and fishing.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., May 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sea Ray Boats employees at the Tellico Lake facility in Vonore and at the Riverview plant in Knoxville are each celebrating a safety milestone, respectively achieving 3 and 1 million work hours without a lost-time incident. The Tellico Lake facility has won the award for the third consecutive year, while the Riverview facility is being honored for the first time.
In recognition of these accomplishments, Brunswick Corporation, Sea Ray's parent company, has awarded both facilities the Chairman's Gold Safety Award, to be presented on May 10, by Dustan E. McCoy, chairman and chief executive officer - Brunswick Corporation, and Peter B. Hamilton, president - Brunswick Boat Group.
