Grand Banks Yachts: Big On Oceania
New people, new models, and new service centers mark GB’s strong focus on the region
SEATTLE – April 17, 2006 – As Grand Banks Yachts marks its 50-year anniversary, the company has made several big moves in recent weeks to strengthen its presence in Australia, and its support of Grand Banks owners throughout Oceania. The company recently named Peter Brown as its first sales manager for the region, who emphasized the importance of Australia and New Zealand to Grand Banks: “We are working hard to be sure all boaters in this region will have more access to sales and service organizations commensurate with the high quality of our product.” Part of that commitment, he said, is the appointment of two new authorized service centers in Australia, Noakes and Marine Engineering Consultants.
Noakes Boats and Shipyards, with full service locations in Sydney, Newcastle and Nelson Bay, is one of the most well-known and respected marine maintenance and repair facilities in New South Wales. Noakes, who recently commissioned a new Grand Banks 52 Heritage EU, provides the same high standard of consistency and quality at each location, ensuring peace of mind for Grand Banks owners across virtually the entire eastern seaboard of Australia.
