Formula Celebrates Ribbon Cutting
Formula's 85,000 square-foot addition to its Decatur, Indiana, manufacturing plant is now official!
On March 31, 2006, the Formula team celebrated the opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The new addition will allow for increased production of larger powerboats through an increase in efficiency and the relief of congestion, primarily in the production of small fiberglass parts and also in product development. The small parts area is specially designed to enable the small parts team to contain and work on Formula products in one specific location. Additionally, this section houses a new training facility. The training room will hold 120 individuals, with 32 high-tech computers available, which will provide more hands-on training opportunities to employees and dealers.
The expansion in the product development area will provide more room for creativity, design and development of new products.
